Joseph Burrier Fine Wines from South Burgundy - Pouilly-Fuissé

Château de Beauregard

The name “Beauregard”, meaning nice view, comes from the beautiful sight one enjoys from the estate which lies isolated in the middle of the vineyards,
on the rocky cliffs of SOLUTRÉ and VERGISSON, and on the villages of Pouilly and Fuissé.

An exceptionnal estate with 43 hectares of vineyards

The Burrier family estates (Château de Beauregard, Georges Burrier and Joseph Burrier Domains)
constitute one of the major properties of Southern Burgundy.
Its vineyards cover 43 hectares and include 22 of Pouilly-Fuissé, 7 of Saint-Véran
and 12 of Fleurie, Moulin-à-Vent, Morgon, Saint-Amour and Chiroubles.
All the white wines are vinified at Château de Beauregard and one part of the red wines at the second property of the Château,
the former “Tournissoux House”, situated in Fleurie.

Grapes and wine making

The vineyards are managed to promote microbial life in the soil and to encourage deep rooting of the vines.
In the cellar the wines are allowed time to ferment slowly and to clarify naturally.
It is our belief that this method enables the wines to acquire the true expression of their “Terroir”.
